UPCOMING PROJECT
VOL 2: COVERED
7th Element’s latest project, Covered is set to be released this summer. It contains the band’s signature expressions of some of the most iconic songs ever written. From a dynamic and vocally explosive cover of James Ingram and Michael McDonald’s Yah Mo B There, to a breathtaking a cappella performance of Michael Jackson’s epic Man in the Mirror, a soaring harmonic interpretation of Chicago’s You’re the Inspiration, their melodic and gripping vocals on Josh Groban’s You Raise Me Up, to a down-home cover of Stevie Wonder’s Higher Ground. 7th Element reminds us of what we really need right now with their cover of What the World Needs Now is Love, and they remain true to their gospel roots with covers of Give Thanks and Bill Gaither’s inspirational standard Something About That Name.
This project includes collaborations with multi-Grammy winning artists Mark Kibble, David Thomas and Khristian Dentley of Take 6 along with songwriter/producer Alex Teamer, N’Namdi Bryant and many other musical luminaries. If you are a connoisseur of vocal excellence, 7th Element’s Covered project is a definite must-have.
